It was a frightening reaction to a prescribed blood pressure medication, and a turning point. I’d like to remind you my readers, that the higher your blood pressure you’re at a greater risk. If you are between the ages of forty to seventy years of age, each increment of 20 mm Hg systolic blood pressure or 10 mm Hg in diastolic blood pressure your risk of cardiovascular disease doubles across the entire blood pressure range.
